Welcome to the ComForM homepage

The Community based natural forest and tree management in the Himalaya (ComForM) project is a collaboration between:

• the Institute of Forestry (IOF) of Tribhuvan University (TU),

• the DANIDA funded Natural Resources Management Sector Assistance Programme (NARMSAP) in Kathmandu, and

• the Danish Centre for Forest, Landscape and Planning (S&L), part of the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL) in Copenhagen.

ComForM is funded by DANIDA’s ENRECA programme which funds capacity building projects up to 12 years (four phases). The first phase of the project runs from 1 October 2003 to 30 September 2007.
